OPTION 1:
Plitvice Lakes and Rastoke Village Small Group Day Trip from Zagreb

A day trip from Zagreb to the most popular national park in Croatia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a visit to Rastoke Village on your way to Plitvice Lakes. Meet up with the group at 8:30 am and head towards the most popular national park in Croatia, Plitvice Lakes. During the 2.5-hour bus drive, admire the views as you travel out of the city and towards the luscious green landscapes of the park.

On your way to Plitvice Lakes, you stop in the picturesque watermill village of Rastoke, sitting on top of a maze of streams and waterfalls, where you'll explore the old watermills and authentic houses connected with numerous waterfalls and small lakes.After a 2.5-hour bus drive, you arrive at Plitvice Lakes. In the next 3 to 4 hours, you walk around the crystal clear Lower Lakes, take the train ride to the great waterfall and go for a boat ride across the Big Lake.The late afternoon drive back to Zagreb.

Ljubljana and Lake Bled Small Group Day Trip from Zagreb

Starting at 8:30 am in Zagreb, this 11-hour day tour will take you to the capital of Slovenia, the city of Ljubljana, and the most popular Slovenian resort – Lake Bled.

Ljubljana is Slovenia's capital and the country's largest city, as well as one of Europe's greenest and most liveable capitals. In Ljubljana, you will go on a guided tour to learn more about the city and its history, and to experience the best of it during your 3-hour stay.

After departing from Ljubljana, we will continue our journey to Bled Island, where you will explore the stunning, iconic castle, both from the inside and out. Bled is a delightfully picturesque place with its bluish-green lake, exquisite islet church, a majestic, medieval castle clinging to a rocky cliff and some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps and the Karavanke as backdrops. You’ll also get a chance to enjoy some free time before heading back to Zagreb.

Zagreb Free Walking Tour

Join us for a 2-hour walk with a local guide, tick off all the Old Town must-sees, find out what to do, where to eat and drink, where to go out and a lot of other interesting stuff!

The tour covers all the Old Town main sights such as Zagreb's main square, Stone Gate, St. Mark's Square, Lotrščak tower, Catherine's Square etc. The tour is based on historical and cultural facts, as well as the everyday life of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

A walking tour where you will discover what it was like living in Zagreb during the turbulent years of its recent history.Our first stop will be the World War II underground tunnels representing the history of Croatia and Zagreb throughout the 20th century, including World War II, almost 50 years of communist Yugoslavia and the fall of communism in Croatia through the Homeland War.

The tour ends in the basement used by locals as a shelter during the air raids on Zagreb where the details of the Homeland War are explained through a video presentation.

Post Congress Tour

There will also be offered various programme of tours in Zagreb and/or surroundings during the Conference.

There is also a possibility of a Post Congress Tour, which will be organized as follows:

  • Day 1: Zagreb - Zadar
  • Day 2: Šibenik
  • Day 3: Prvić Island / Faust Vrančić Memorial Centre
  • Day 4: Split
  • Day 5: Plitivce Lakes - Zagreb

Price per person: 1.280,00 EUR (price based on 10 passangers)

The price includes: transportation by high-class tourist bus accommodation in a 4* hotel, double/twin room, on a half-board basis organized lunch each day of the journey local guides for Zadar, Šibenik, Split and Plitvice lakes tickets for Civitas Sacra, Šibenik fortress, ferry ride, Faust Vrančić Memorial centar, Diocletian's Palace, NP Plitvice Lakes external tours according to the program tour leader - guidance during the entire tour in the english language preparation, organization and guarantee of travel package tour liability insurance and bail insurance.

The price does not include: additional contents and costs not provided for in the program, costs of a personal nature (drinks, additional meals, telephone, tickets for public city transport, etc.) travel insurance: insurance against the consequences of an accident and travel illness, damage and loss of luggage, voluntary health insurance for travel and stay abroad, insurance in case of trip cancellation and insurance covering the costs of assistance and return passenger to the place of departure in case of accident and illness supplement for a single room - 150,00 EUR/ per person.
